01

Why is there water dripping from my AC?

There can be a number of reasons for this, the first place we recommend to start with is the Return air filter. If this filter becomes clogged it can cause the indoor fan to draw water up through the drain pan, resulting in a feature waterfall within the house.

02

Why does my Air conditioner smell?

When running you Air conditioner on cooling, the system is also removing moisture from the air.

If this water isn't allowed to drain freely you can quickly develop a mouldy odour when running the system. In most cases if you have your system serviced & deodorised with Climate Sensitive the odour should be eliminated.

03

Why does my AC trip the safety switch?

This should be taken seriously, the circuit breaker (Safety switch) is designed to remove power from the Air conditioning system when a fault develops. Repeatedly or forcing the circuit breaker back on can cause the device to fail and potentially exploding. We recommend contacting Climate Sensitive to ensure the fault is located & repaired.

04

Why is there no cool air coming from my Air conditioner?

The first step would be to ensure the system is set to Cooling, often a snow flake symbol or the word Cool. The outside unit should also start up approx. 5 minutes after turning the system on.

If you have the unit switched to the correct setting but still feel there is no cooling give Climate Sensitive a call, we will happily look into this.

05

Why does my AC remote controller not work?

We often find customers who have purchased universal remote's to have this issue.

Depending on the type of control, there can be hundreds of different codes which you need to select from to link the remote and air conditioning system. We can either set this up for yourself or supply a remote to do the job.

06

My controller is flashing a code (Letters / numbers)

This is an indication your system has developed a fault. Most Air conditioning systems have a range of fault codes which help technicians pin point where and what the fault is. Climate Sensitive repair air conditioning systems Melbourne wide.
